The South Asian Association for regional co-operation was signed at Dhaka, Bangladesh on 8th Dec. 1985 by heads of State or of government /of member countries. It was formed of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Srilanka for promoting peace, stability, amity and progress through strict adherence to the principles of the United Nations character and Non-Alignment. |

two days 10 & 11 Dec. great Intellectually slimulating, Inter school Competition, amongst SAARC Countries. Campus School, Chiranjiv Vihar, Ghaziabad was the proud to host the SAARC ASIAN SAMELLAN. The SAARC Samellan comprised event like Debate, Quiz, AD Making, Volte Face, Calligraphy, Press Conference and Cultural events. |

There were two street plays (1) Merchant of Venice Sheel Malik (Portia) and Ashish (Bassanio) got prizes for the best performance. (2) Hindi street play ‘Andher Nagri Chaupet Raja’ in which students
from the Middle Section took part.
Fancy Paper bag competition in which students prepared beautiful bags and their slogan was ‘No Plastic bags’ Save our environment. In this, Vani took the first prize. She was accompanied by Aman Aggarwal, Second was Priyanka and Richa. This prize went to Ishita. Siddharth and Siddhant’s
bags were also appreciated by the people.
There were many speeches by different students on various topics. Another programme where people couldn’t stop laughing was the Hasya Kavi Sammelan. Slogan writing students performed very nicely.
Face Painting a lot of children took part the first prize went to Rohan and Akash the two clowns. Quiz Buz was another programme were audience enjoyed a lot. The programme would have been incomplete if there were no dances. Solo and group dances and group songs were the other major attractions. |
